Course Overview

This project gives you practical experience with Oracle's MySQL Workbench and equips you with the fundamental skills needed to work with any other relational database. At the conclusion of the project, the objective is to produce a billing report and a roster of club members.

The video teaches you how to use SQL, including understanding tables, writing basic SELECT statements, using wildcard characters for pattern matching, sorting query results, adding data to a database, deleting data, and joining tables for meaningful reports. Basic proficiency in any computer language, such as shell script for MacOS or Unix or basic CSS or JavaScript website customisation, is required for this course.

This Guided Project offers skill-based, hands-on learning through expert guidance and a unique side-by-side interface. It provides access to tools and resources in a pre-configured cloud workspace but is only available on desktop computers with a reliable internet connection, not mobile devices. No downloads or installation is required.
